“The crazy energy of the Jive Aces can certainly whisk you away to a different era and tempt you to Jump, Jive and Wail out of happiness and joy!” – The Student Newspaper, Edinburgh
The UK’s No.1 swing and jive band and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists, The Jive Aces present their brand new show “The Big Beat Revue”.
The show features special guests, vintage pin-up dancing singing and tapping showgirls, Kara Lane, Lottie B, Antonio Socci and Grazia Bevilacqua.
From beginning to end the show is full of colour, 40’s and 50’s songs and rhythms with a dash of Rock ’n’ Roll. The show will have your feet tapping with all-time classics made famous by Louis Prima, Bobby Darin, The Andrew Sisters and Ella Fitzgerald along with a wide selection of originals taken from their 10 studio albums.
The show was premiered this summer at the Edinburgh Fringe to sold out crowds earning five-star reviews and is now touring all over the United Kingdom by popular demand.
The Jive Aces, who became famous for putting Simon Cowell in a good mood, just received the prestigious Boisdale Music Award for “Best Band” presented by Jools Holland. Their hallmark yellow suits have appeared on many world class stages from Glastonbury to the Montreux Jazz Festival, and on TV shows such as the Allan Titchmarsh show, Strictly Come Dancing and Children in Need to name just a few.
The band have also worked with many of the top names in the business, including John Travolta, Van Morrison, Status Quo and their recent charity single was produced by Mike Stock of Stock, Aitken and Waterman fame.
“With a classic set from The Jive Aces and vintage vocals, songs from the three Satin Dollz singers, plus tap dance routines from the two dancers, the entire on-stage line-up of 12 performers was certainly giving their sold-out audience value for money…”

Fordham’s sax exuberantly soars- boy can this musician fly! Both horns, in fact, know how to ride on straight eighths, swing out, and boogie-woogie. Trombonist Douglas dances between playing. A man who understands serious fun. “Alix Cohen Theatre, Pizzazz”.
